Soft lines, hand-drawn details, and a human touch this logo was shaped to feel warm, personal, and anything but static. The lettering and illustration were drawn by hand to reflect the cozy, lived-in atmosphere of the concept itself like something you might spot on a well-used coaster in a candlelit café.
As with Prots, which I also designed for the same two founders, I chose a handmade, expressive style to stay close to the brand’s heart. It’s about honesty, warmth, and real human presence.

The name De Tussen Ruimte plays a key role in the design. In Dutch, “tussen” means “in between”, and I brought that meaning into the layout by placing the illustration right between the two words. It’s a subtle visual cue that mirrors what the space stands for: shared moments, gentle pauses, and togetherness.
Its circular shape and café-inspired elements make it equally at home on a beer coaster or in the heart of a conversation.
